About Nancy McRight I have spent many years preparing clients for their interviews, written their resumes and coached them through their jobs once we are successful at placement. I have developed some outstanding and useful tools, which I focus on in the book. These tools are a result of being a business owner and interviewing and training hundreds of people as well as my past six years working as a job developer and job coach for people with disabilities. I recently received the "Polly Award" (Polly Gonzalez was a local newscaster who died in an automobile accident some years ago and was a big supporter of working with people with disabilities) from the Work Employment Enhancement Team who annually recognizes people and companies for their work with the disabled. During my process of working with and training clients for job interviews, I have developed written materials used in our workshops. This material has now materialized into a book, How To Find A Job (& Keep It!) I did not want to re-write the many hundreds of books that have been published on the subject so not only have I included some very frank comments about the interview process and what the employer is looking for, I have included many links to sites that are important for additional research in the many job developing stages. My goal is to make everyone there own job developer so if they are faced with unemployment again, they will know the proper steps in their job search and interview process. I constantly impress upon my clients the importance of looking at the company they are working for as though it were their own and have included some very good insight in the book so people will understand the employers side of hiring, training and managing. After all, I was a successful business owner for over 20 years. My clients who have attended my workshops have repeatedly told me how valuable this information was to them and how they have changed the way they look at their job. Also included are links to sites to help those who need government assistance. With our current economy and job employment at the lowest in our history, How To Find A Job (& Keep It!) will help even the most seasoned professionals in this extremely competitive job market. In addition, there will be on-line job coaching and resume writing services available through my website. | |
